The 2013-15 batch comprised 239 students in the flagship PGPM course, 60 students in the PGP-HRM course and 37 in the PGP-IM course, the institute said.
71 students accepted the pre-placement offers this year while 8 students opted out of the placement process and decided to take the entrepreneurial path, the final placement report said.
The average compensation offered to 239 students under PGPM (Post Graduate Programme in Management) course by 103 participating companies was Rs 16.86 lakh, while the highest package offered was Rs 25.18 lakh, it said.
For 37 students in the PGP-IM (International Management) course, the 29 companies participating offered average pay package of Rs 15.54 lakh, while the highest offer was of Rs 22.50 lakh.
Besides, the average international pay package offered in the three domains including PGPM, PGP-HRM and PGP-IM was Rs 31.36 lakh per annum.
Among the first time recruiters this time were big names like Adobe, Bank of America, BT Global, Heinz, Snapdeal, Tata Communications, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance and Novartis.
General management roles were offered by firms like Airtel, Essar Group, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, Interglobe, Jindal Steel and Power Ltd, Raymond Group and Reliance Industries Ltd.
Some of the major recruiters in the Operations domain were Arvind Brands, Aviva, BT Global Services, Genpact and Larsen & Toubro. Major e-commerce recruiters such as eBay, Flipkart, Snapdeal and Zovi hired for their analytics and operations profile.
Consulting and Strategy domains witnessed participation from reputed firms such as Adobe, The Bain Capability Center, The Boston Consulting Group, Cognizant Business Consulting, Deloitte US India, Grail Research, KPMG, Synergy Advisory and PricewaterhouseCoopers, among others.
