The maximum was thus recorded at 31.4 degrees Celsius while the minimum settled two notches below the season's average at 17.4 degrees, the MeT office said.
Humidity in air oscillated between 40 and 96 per cent.
The weatherman has predicted rain tomorrow in some parts of the city.
"The skies will be cloudy tomorrow with chances of one or two spells of light rain or thundershowers in some areas. There will be mist in the morning. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to settle at 28 and 19 degrees, respectively," the MeT forecast said.
