PM condoles death of mandolin exponent U Srinivas

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today condoled the death of carnatic musician U Srinivas and recalled the mandolin maestro's long-standing contribution to music.
"The Prime Minister expressed grief on the passing away of renowned musician Shri Uppalapu Shrinivas," his official Twitter handle, @PMOIndia said.
"The PM recalled the Mandolin Maestro's dedication & long-standing contribution towards music & added that he will always be remembered," another tweet said.
The 45-year-old musician died this morning in Chennai following a liver-related illness.
