PM greets Maldives on its foundation day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today greeted Maldives on its foundation day and said that India's ties with it were built on a very strong foundation.
"Greetings to the wonderful people of the Republic of Maldives as they celebrate 50th Anniversary of their Independence," he said.
"Maldives is a valued partner in the Indian Ocean neighbourhood & our ties are built on a very strong foundation," he said.
