PM Modi condoles Vikhe Patil's demise

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the demise of Congress leader and former Union minister Eknathrao 'Balasaheb' Vikhe Patil.
"Pained by the demise of Shri Balasaheb Vikhe Patil. May his soul rest in peace. My condolences to Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil and the entire family.
"Vikhe Patil was a mass leader whose work in agriculture, rural development, education & cooperatives will be remembered," the PM tweeted.
Vikhe Patil, 84, passed away at his residence in Loni village in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra this evening following prolonged illness.
