PM pays tributes to Bal Thackeray

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today paid rich tributes to late Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray on his 90th birth anniversary.
"Balasaheb Thackeray...My mind is filled with many memories. Tributes to the widely admired and respected personality on his birth anniversary," he tweeted.
BJP President Amit Shah also remembered the late Shiv Sena leader on his birth anniversary.
"My tribute to Balasaheb Thackeray a true nationalist & a respected mass leader on his birth anniversary," he tweeted.
Thackeray was born on January 23, 1926 in Pune and later founded the right-wing party Shiv Sena in 1966.
He died on November 17, 2012.
