Taking a dig at Sakshi Maharaj who said Hindu women should have at least four children, Congress today said Prime Minister should clarify whether "Make in India+4" is the population policy of India.
Party spokesman Abhishek Singhvi told reporters that the Prime Minister's clarification is needed as Sakshi Maharaj "after all is an eminent citizen out of a community of 750 persons only in a population of 1.25 billion. And therefore, it is a very serious issue."
"Ab ki Baar, Bachhe Chaar... Is it that the BJP has changed the population policy of India without our knowledge?" asked Singhvi, in an apparent swipe of BJP's election slogan of "Ab ki baar, Modi Sarkar".
