Party's Youth Wing leader and Dharmapuri MP, Anbumani Ramadoss, wrote to Jayalalithaa urging that she should immediately convene an all-party meeting where a resolution should be adopted in this regard.
Jayalalithaa should "lead a delegation of all-party MLAsand MPs to meet Modi upon his return from US and insist," that India take the lead in this matter, he said.
Ramadoss said that only if political differences in the state were overcome, could the Lankan Tamils get "justice."
He lauded Jayalalithaa for getting a resolution adoptedin the Tamil Nadu Assembly urging India to press for an international probe and take diplomatic efforts to 'change' any possible pro-Lanka stand by the US in the UNHRC.
