Poacher held with leopard skin in Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand Police has arrested an alleged poacher and seized an eight feet-long leopard skin from his possession.
Anand, a resident of Pithoragarh, has confessed to have killed the animal at Danya village of Almora district, Pithoragarh Superintendent of Police Roshan Lal Sharma claimed.
"The eight feet-long skin of leopard is said to be worth Rs eight Lakh approximately in the international market. The arrested smuggler has confessed to have sent animal pelt to China via Nepal," the officer said.
