Police asked to produce case diaries in HC

Kerala High court today directed police officials of Kollam and Thiruvnananthapuram to produce by June 10 their case diaries with regard to the death of Satnam Singh who died in police custody allegedly due to torture in August, 2012.
The direction in this regard was issud by Justice K. Ramakrishnan while considering a petition by Satnam Singh's relatives seeking CBI probe into his death.
Singh, from Bihar, had been taken into custody by police for creating disturbance at the Mata Amritanandamayi Ashram at Kollam on August 1, 2012.
On August 4, he was found dead with injury marks all over his body.
