The police drove away some black marketers from the Maidan area today after they created a chaos near the IPL ticket counters.
People who had booked their tickets online for the May 9 IPL match between KKR and Mumbai Indians were standing in a queue to collect the physical tickets from the counters, police said.
Some black marketers created a ruckus in the area after which the police swung into action to keep things under control, a police officer said.
Some people alleged that they had received injuries during police action.
However, the police denied any such action.
There was no major incident in the Maidan area today, the police officer said.
