Phulparas Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Umeshwar Choudhary said the incident occurred late last night when the police jeep carrying nine policemen including Phulparas SHO fell into a ditch after its driver lost control over the vehicle.
Four policemen - Sauryakant, Badrinarayan Mandal, Manoj Kumar and Ramadhin Pandey - suffered serious injuries and were admitted to Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital, Darbhanga last night. Manoj Kumar and Ramadhin Pandey were referred to Patna Medical College and Hospital, Patna for better treatment, SDPO said.
