Police nab two drug peddlers from Pulwama

Two alleged drug peddlers were arrested and a large quantity of contraband substance recovered from their possession in Pulwama district of south Kashmir, police said today.
Kaviraj Pradhan, a resident of Sangharpur-Sorankote in Jammu and Abdul Hameed Ganie of Tengpuna village of Pulwama, were arrested on a specific information, a police spokesman said.
He said seven kilograms of poppy straw were recovered at their instance.
A case under NDPS Act was registered against the arrested persons, the spokesman said.
