"No person found indulging in any such activity will be spared irrespective of his caste, creed, religious affiliations or political allegiance," Senior Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Singh said.
Singh was briefing police officials at a parade at Harsaon police lines and his orders come in the wake of tension in Shamshabad, near Agra, where violence erupted after a youth of one community posted derogatory comment against another community on a social networking site.
Keeping in view the forthcoming festive days, the SSP asked officers to be alert in their respective jurisdictions and keep eye on communal-minded persons of all communities.
