Police providing information to pushkaram pilgrims: AP DGP

Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police J V Ramudu said here today that the police is providing information to pilgrims reaching for Godavari pushakaram by road and railways.
The DGP inspected Pushkhar ghat, Saraswathi ghat and Kotilingala ghat to enquire about facilities provided to pilgrims.
"We provide necessary information to pilgrims coming in trains and buses," he said.
The DGP conducted an aerial survey of the ghats in East Godavari and West Godavari districts, along with senior police officials.
He said that all necessary steps have been taken to prevent any untoward incident.
