Police have summoned strongman and Mokama MLA Anant Singh to appear before it on August one for giving his voice sample to match it with an audio clip related to a murder case conspiracy.
The viral audio tape has purportedly shown Singh talking to a person as part of an alleged plot to kill a contractor Bhola Singh and his brother Mukesh Singh.
Police had on late Monday evening pasted a notice at the Patna residence of the Independent legislator asking him to appear at 11 am in FSL office in state police headquarter at 'Sardar Patel Bhawan' on August 1 for giving his voice sample, Pandarak police station Officer-in-charge Raman Prakash Vashistha said.
Police had on July 14 arrested four criminals with arms from Pandarak area in rural Patna with an intention to eliminate the contractor and his brother, he said.
In their confessional statements, the criminals admitted about the MLA's involvement in the conspiracy to kill the duo.
