Police to check eve-teasing on buses, autos in G Noida

In a bid to prevent eve-teasing on public transport like buses and auto-rickshaws, police launched a checking drive from Pari Chowk area today. On directions from SSP Shalabh Mathur, Kasna Police launched the drive from Pari Chowk area. Police officials stopped to check public buses and auto-rickshaws and inquired from female passengers if they had any problems. They also directed bus drivers and conductors to see that if any female is harassed while travelling, the driver must immediately stop at a nearby PCR van and handover the culprit to the police. The police also stopped vehicles with tinted windows and asked them to remove the black-film.
