Poll official dies of heart attack in Jharkhand

A polling personnel died of heart attack in Kesharda cluster in Baharagoda, about 90 kms from here, under Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency, official sources said today.
The deceased Kishan Mukhi (51), an employee of National Metallurgical Laboratory here, collapsed soon after arriving here for poll duty, they said.
SDO Ghatsila Sub-division Girija Shankar Prasad said Mukhi alongwith his wife and son travelled to Kesharda cluster on a motorcycle and died of heart attack soon after reaching the place.
He has registered his attendance but did not report to duty, Prasad said, adding that the body has been sent for post mortem.
The second phase of polling for six parliamentary seats including Jamshedpur in Jharkhand was slated for tomorrow.
