"We have in pipeline four films to be produced on co-production basis," ASFFDC Chairman Babita Sharma told PTI.
'Baandhon', directed by Barua and produced by ASSDFC opened the Indian Panorama section of IFFI 2012 today.
"We have made this film after 10 years. In between there was a lull. We want to revive the Assamese film industry and the process has begun with Barua's film," Sharma said.
"We thought lets make one film to reach out to the masses as we can't make films at par with Bollywood," she said.
'Baandhon', which released on October 26, is doing well commercially.
"We intend to take the movie abroad by having tie ups," Sharma said, adding that they are in the process of negotiation with few distributors.
