Postage stamp design contest for children

Children can come up with their own design of postage stamp under a national-level competition being organised by the Department of Posts as part of Children's Day Celebrations this year.
Any person under the age of 18 is eligible to participate in the competition, according to a communication received by the local philately association.
An undertaking stating that the artwork is original and no copyright issues are involved should be sent along with the entry.
The design should be sent, without being folded, through 'Speed Post' in A4 size envelope before August 31 to ADG (Philately), Room No. 108 (B), Dak Bhawan, Parliament Street, New Delhi - 110001.

The best entry would be chosen for the design of the stamp and the first prize would carry a cash award of Rs 10,000 and second and third prizes Rs 6,000 and Rs 4,000 respectively, the communication said.
