The People's Party of Arunachal (PPA) today came down heavily on the BJP for neglecting the state during the recent visit of Chinese President to the country.

"The PPA demands apology from BJP governments at the Centre as well as in Gujarat," PPA President Nikh Kamin said in a statement here.

Kamin alleged the BJP failed to safeguard Arunachal's interest, which shared border with China, during the Chinese leader's visit to the country.

"It has been reported in the electronic media by the BJP spokesperson that the allegation will be investigated and corrected," he claimed.
