Three precious idols were stolen from a Jain temple near the Thakurganj block office in the district, a police officer said today.
The thieves late last night broke into the Digambar Jain temple by forcing the front gate and stole three idols, including one of Lord Mahavira, he said.
The idols, made of 'astadhatu', were brought from Bhagalpur for installation at the temple, which was built in 1978, the officer added.
