Pinki (27), her husband Ravi (30) and mother-in-law Laungeshri (56) were on their way to Pinki's parents house on a motorcycle around 12 PM last night when a speeding truck ran over them, a police spokesperson said.
Pinki was almost nine months pregnant and doctors had set September 20 as her delivery date.
Following the incident, residents this morning blocked vehicular traffic on the road to protest the accident. They dispersed following an assurance by police that the accused will be nabbed soon, the spokesman added.
