Based on specific information regarding the presence of an active PREPAK cadre in Churachandpur district's Kangwai, troops of the Red Shield Division launched an operation on Saturday, an Army release said here today.
The jawans cordoned the house and after a thorough search, they apprehended a PREPAK cadre.
Initial interrogation revealed that he was part of a fighting group of PREPAK and had participated in operations against the security forces earlier, the release said.
