The 'Pushkaralu' (ritual of sacred bath in river) is scheduled to begin on July 14, but the works and arrangements for the people to take holy dip in Godavari are of poor quality, Telangana BJP president and MLA G Kishan Reddy told a press conference.
The administration need to expedite the works and make proper arrangements soon, he said.
A team of BJP workers visited the places where the pilgrims will visit the ghats for the sacred bath and took stock of the arrangements, he added.
