President Ram Nath Kovind today hosted 'At Home' reception for the elite of Shimla at the Retreat.
The president was also presented a coffee table book of the Tourism Department by the chief minister.
Governor Acharya Devvrat, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, Cabinet ministers and judges of the Himachal Pradesh High Court were present on the occasion.
Former chief minister Virbhadra Singh, Speaker Rajiv Bindal, Acting Chief Justice Sanjay Karol, Chief Secretary Vineet Chawdhry, Director General of Police S R Mardi and other prominent citizens were also present.
The president, who is on six-day visit to Shimla, would have rest tomorrow and leave for Delhi on May 25.
