President Ram Nath Kovind will be on a two-day visit to the state on July 7-8 to attend the convocation ceremony of Goa University, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar said today.
He added that the state would host a civic reception for the President.
"President Kovind was originally scheduled to visit Goa in February but it had to be postponed owing to my health issues," Parrikar told reporters here today.
Parrikar has been ill since February and had gone to the United States on March 7 to get treated for a pancreatic ailment.
He returned to Goa on June 14.
