President, V-P greet people on Ram Navmi

The President, the Vice-President and the Speaker today greeted people on the eve of Ram Navmi, saying the festival will bring people together and lead to unity of hearts and minds.
"Lord Rama was an embodiment of great virtues and the highest values...May the celebrations of this joyous festival bring our people together and lead to a unity of hearts and minds. Let us on this day re-dedicate ourselves to the progress and prosperity of our motherland," President Pranab Mukherjee said in his message.
Vice-President Hamid Ansari said may the virtuous life of Lord Ram "inspire us to uphold his noble ideals and high moral values."

Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan said that Lord Ram will inspire people to follow the path of humility and righteousness.
