Prices of peas gain on increased demand

Barring a rise in prices of peas due to pick-up in demand from retailers, other pulses held steady at the wholesale pulses market today.
Traders said pick-up in demand from retailers mainly led to the rise in prices of peas.
In the national capital, peas white and green rose by Rs 25 each to Rs 2,700-2,725 and Rs 2,775-2,875 per quintal, respectively.

Masoor small Rs 5,000-5,300, Bold Rs 5,150-5,400, Dal Masoor local Rs 6,100-6,200, best quality Rs 6,200-6,300, Malka local Rs 6,600-6,900, best Rs 6,800-6,900, Moth Rs 5,600-5,900, Arhar Rs 5,950-6,000, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 7,300-7,600.
