Pro-TMC artistes, intellectuals hold procession

Pro-Trinamool Congress artistes from film and stage and intellectuals today took out a procession in the city protesting against alleged attack on the culture of Bengal and attempt to project the state in a bad light.
Noted film personalities like TMC MP Deb, Arindam Sil and several other actors participated in the march alongwith poet Subodh Sarkar and stage artist-cum-minister Bratya Basu.
Singers Indranil Sen and Nachiketa, director Raj Chakrabarty, producer Srikant Mohta of Venkatesh Films, actors Soham and Saheb and numerous TV serial artists also took part in the march which started from Nandan film centre and ended at Academy of Fine Arts.

Chief minister Mamata Banerjee had on Monday urged the intellectual community to hold a procession to voice protest against these action "Which was done at the behest of the Union government run by BJP.
