Prof Mishra named Acting VC of Devi Ahilyabai Vishwa Vidyalaya

Professor Ashutosh Mishra was today appointed Acting Vice-Chanellor (VC) of Devi Ahilyabai Vishwa Vidyalaya (DAVV) by Governor Ram Naresh Yadav.
Mishra has been appointed as Acting VC by the Governor in his capacity as Chancellor of universities in Madhya Pradesh, a Public Relations Department official said.
His appointment at the Indore-based varsity will be in force till a regular VC is selected, he said.
Outgoing Vice-Chanellor D P Singh resigned from his post on August 10 and he will be relieved on August 17, the official added.
