Etawah District authorities have imposed prohibitory orders in the entire district to avoid any untoward situation for two months in view of Shravan Mela, Janmashtami and Eid-ul-Fitr.
Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Satish Pal has promulgated prohibitory orders under section 144 CrPC with immediate effect, according to the order.
"The action has been taken to nullify any chances of anti-social elements disturbing public peace and tranquility during these two busy months," said Pal.
Prohibitory orders under section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) bans the assembly of five or more people.
