The projects included development of new tourists places, facilities and upgrading infrastructure at tourist destinations, the minister told reporters here.
"Works worth Rs 911.63 cr have been taken up in the state. This includes five projects worth Rs 389.34 cr under a Centre-sponsored scheme and 173 projects worth Rs 522.29 cr under the state plan," she said ahead of the completion of four years of the BJP government in Rasjathan next month.
The proposed investment of Rs 10,442.94 cr is likely to create employment for 40,905 people, she said.
Additional Chief Secretary for Tourism, Art and Culture, N C Goel, said that hotel management institutes are being constructed in Dholpur, Jhalawar and Sawai Madhopur districts. These are being constructed with financial help from the central government, he said.
