Property dealer shot dead, 4 injured

A property dealer was shot dead and four others injured by some miscreants in Shivpur Shahbazganj locality here, police said today.
Brajendra Singh was attending the last rituals of a property dealer last night when at least six men came in a jeep and sprang around 50 rounds of bullets on him and others, SSP Pradeep Kumar said.
Singh died on the spot while four others -- Manoj Singh, Arun Agrawal, Kaushal Pandey and Sankata Prasad Pandey -- have been admitted to BRD Medical College Hospital and are said to be in a serious condition.
Personal animosity is said to be the reason behind the killing, the SSP said.

"Teams have been deployed to search the assailants and they will be arrested soon," he said.
