The court suto motu took up an incident reported a few days back when some miscreants hurled stones at the house of the Ramanathapuram district Women's Fast Track Court Judge M Prakasan and asked officials on the steps taken to provide protection for Judges hearing important cases.
A division bench, comprising Justice S Tamilselvanan and V S Ravi, also wanted to know about the action taken against those who pelted stones at the house of the Judge.
The Additional Advocate General submitted the counter filed by the Ramanathapuram SP who said some small boys had thrown the stones at the house of the Judge breaking the windowpanes. "The boys actually aimed the stone at a frog which was moving on the glass. There was no motive attached to the incident".
The Family Court judge also withdrew the complaint, the AAG submitted.
