The protestors in Farain Kalan village in the district did not allow eight new school teachers, who arrived here after the school's entire staff was transferred following the May 16 incident, to teach, and forced shut a school in a neighbouring village, police said.
Parents of those studying at the government school said they would not send their children to that school and would teach them at home.
On May 16, the accused was arrested following a complaint lodged by the victim's parents.
Villagers have not allowed the school to open since the incident came to light, protesting outside the school premises and demanding immediate arrest of all those involved.
