Public told to take precautions against spread of measles

: Health department officials today warned the public against spread of Measles in several parts of this district and asked them to take precautions.
The officials said 46 people have so far been admitted at Thoppur Government Hospital with measles
Medical officer J Balakrishnan said the outbreak had occurred one month earlier in March this year due to continuous summer.
He said children should either be vaccinated or given tablets for five or seven days. It usually takes 14 days to be cured,he said.
