Punjab government got a special survey conducted in the state under which the nine road projects were identified, Public Works Department Minister Sharanjit Singh Dhillon said.
The 70.67 km Barnala-Mansa-Sardulgarh-Sirsa route, 33.75 km Ratiya-Boha- Budhlada- Bhikhi route, 24.05 km Mukerian-Gurdaspur route, 59.16 km Dharamkot-Zira-Ferozepur route, 33.50 km Phillaur-Naggar-Rahon route, 87.70 km Kapurthala-Tarn Taran- Chhabal- Attari route, 56.57 km Chandigarh-Landran-Chunni- Sirhind route, 52.50 km Rampura-Maur-Talwandi Sabo-Raman Mandi route and 33.60 km Shri Mukatsar sahib-Malout route have been identified, he said.
During tenure of the SAD-BJP government Rs 624 crore were spent on upgrading 520-km roads and 33 Railway Over bridges were built with the cost of 564 crore.
