Punjab govt notifies policy for skill development

Punjab government has notified a policy for involvement of established and leading Private Training Providers (PTP) in the field of skill development in department of Technical Education and Industrial Training.
The policy is aimed at developing skills of the state's youth on latest courses and technologies of skill development through PTPs in industrial training institutes of the state, an official spokesman said.
Prospective PTPs are invited to submit their proposal on prescribed format to start training programmes in government industrial training institutes (ITIs) in Punjab, he added.
