Punjab govt re-employs 27 retired PCS officers

The Punjab government today decided to re-employ 27 retired PCS officers for another six months with effect from January one.
The re-employment of the Punjab Civil Service officers would purely be on contractual basis, an official spokesman said.
Earlier, 32 PCS officers were re-employed by the state government till December 31 this year.
