An official spokesman said the farmers will be able to get information about agriculture development, including latest techniques to sow crops, availability and right type of fertilizer, herbicide, pesticides and weather prediction, with the new application.
The initiative will prove a boon for farmers, as it will enable them to choose seeds on the basis of price and productivity, he said.
The app will also provide information about weather at the time of sowing and harvesting, so that the farmers can save their crops from unfavorable climate conditions.
