The decision has been taken in pursuance of notification issued by the Union Government and Ministry of Environment and Forest on May 6, 2014, a spokesperson from the Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal's Office said.
According to the notification, the PPCB would provide all secretarial, financial, and logistic support including accommodation, transportation and other such facilities to the committee(s) for performing all statutory functions.
Besides, sitting fee and travel allowances/dearness allowance to the Chairman and the members of the SEIAA and SEAC would be paid by the PPCB as per rules applicable/ approved by it, the spokesperson said.
