Punjab to revamp 66 KV network for power supply

This whole exercise would entail financial outlay of Rs 71 crore

The Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has approved a comprehensive plan to extend and increase the capacity of the existing 66 KV network in the state with a view to provide uninterrupted and continuous power supply to the consumers.

This whole exercise would entail financial outlay of Rs 71 crore and under the project, 66 KV power transmission lines of 20 different Power Stations, be shifted and extended, an official spokesperson said here.

He said this process was aimed at the better management and distribution of uninterrupted power to the citizen of the state.
