The Punjab government has made the participation in entrance test mandatory for all students, who want to study law courses.
Three years back the colleges had the power to enrol students as per their seats.
Official sources said that the university will conduct test for admissions in five-year B.A.LL.B./B.A.LL.B.(Hons)/ three year LL.B. And three-year LL.B. (Hons) courses in various colleges/institutions situated in Punjab and affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar and Panjab University, Chandigarh for the session 2012-13.
