Committee of Nagaland Legislators Forum on Naga Political Issue today decided to send a delegation to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other central leaders to request them to settle the over six-decades-old Naga problem at the earliest.
The decision was taken during the first closed-door meeting of the Parliamentary Working Committee (PWC) of the Nagaland Legislators Forum in the Assembly Conference Hall, an official of the Assembly Secretariat said.
The Committee resolved to send its delegation to Delhi to meet the interlocutor to Naga Peace Talks and the Union Home Minister besides the Prime Minister for conveying the need for peaceful atmosphere by having ceasefire with all groups and to request to settle the Naga issue at the earliest.
