Indian provided more than 375,000 visitors to the energy- rich Gulf country, Qatar News Agency quoted Qatar Tourism Authority.
The country received 2.93 million visitors in 2015, a 3.7 per cent more than it received in 2014.
The report noted that the Qatari tourism sector grew in 2015 despite global events that had a big impact on the patterns for travel destinations worldwide.
The tourism sector in Qatar have been growing 11.5 per cent annually since 2010.
Nationalities that visited Qatar the most in 2015 were GCC nationals (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates) with 44 per cent.
Indians came second with 13 per cent of the total. Followed by British, US citizens and Egyptians who combined represented 10.8 per cent of the visitors, the report said.
