R-Day honours: 27 CBI officials awarded President's Medal

Twenty-seven CBI officials have been awarded with the President's Police Medal for distinguished service and meritorious service on the occasion of the Republic Day, the agency today said.
The officials who received the honour for distinguished service include Additional Superintendents of Police Joe Sunil Emmanuel, CBI Academy and Rohit Srivastava, AC-III, Deputy SP Roshan Lal Yadav, AC-I, Assistant Sub Inspector V Kavidas, Head Quarters, Head Constables Raghuvender Singh, Interpol and coordination, and Harpal Singh Virk, ACB, a CBI statement said.
All these officials are posted in New Delhi, it added.
Officials who are awarded with honour for meritorious service include SPs Jagroop S Gusinha, AC-VI/SIT, Deputy SPs Ch V Narendra Deve, ACB, Visakhapatnam, Ajay Kranti Sharma, Special Unit, New Delhi, Mayukh Maitra, Special Unit, Kolkata, Jitendra Kumar, ACB, Jodhpur, Inspectors Rajender Singh, BS and FC, Mumbai, Bodh Raj, EO-I, New Delhi, Vijay Bahadur, AC- I, New Delhi, Y Ramakrishanan, ACB, Chennai and Sanjay Kant Jha, CBI (HQ), New Delhi.

Assistant Sub-Inspector Gurmeet Singh, AC-I, New Delhi, Ballabh Prasad, Interpol and Coordination, New Delhi, Chaman Lal, STF, New Delhi, Head Constables Jagpal Singh, ACB, New Delhi, Babu Ram, AC-III, New Delhi, Sushil Kumar, CBI Academy, Ghaziabad, K P Singh, EO-I, New Delhi, Constables Lakhan Singh, EO-IV, Kolkata, Bharat Bhushan Sharma, ACB, Jammu, Crime Assistant K P Sathy Devi, ACB, Cochin and Rajeev Kumar, Personal Assistant, Policy Division, CBI, New Delhi were also awarded with Police Medal for Meritorious Service, it stated.
