R M Vishakha first woman head of IndiaFirst Life

IndiaFirst Life Insurance has appointed R M Vishakha as managing director and chief executive.
Vishakha, who took charge today, has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry including that of working with life and non-life insurers, the company said in a statement.
Before this she held the post of chief business officer at IndiaFirst Life.
IndiaFirst, the youngest life insurer in the country, is a joint venture of Bank of Baroda, Andhra Bank and Legal & General of Britain.
Bank of Baroda holds a 44 percent stake in the JV while Andhra Bank and Legal & General hold 30 percent and 26 percent, respectively.
