The 2008-batch IAS officer was Collector of Ratnagiri district in coastal Maharashtra before being transferred here, an official release said here.
He earlier held the posts of Sub-Divisional Officer of Ahmednagar and Nandurbar districts and Chief Executive Officer in Jalana district of Marathwada, it added.
