"Rahul Gandhi will arrive at around 3.30 PM in Margao and he will walk for almost an hour from the Holy Spirit Church till the ground near Fatorda Stadium, where he will address a public rally," All India Congress Committee Secretary Girish Chodankar told PTI today.
The 'padyatra' that began in North Goa's Pernem Taluka on November 29, has covered 266 km and 34 constituencies, and Gandhi's public rally will sum it up, he said.
Gandhi's Fatorda rally in South Goa will be the party's first public event in run up to the 2017 state Legislative Assembly election and is expected to be attended by around 10,000 people, sources said.
Congress has already announced that it will field candidates for all the 40 Assembly seats in the state.
